- Heat mustard oil in kadhai and add red chilli and mustard seeds. Let it splutter.
- Add the mango slices, sugar, some salt and mix. Add a little water and close the lid to let it soften.
- Add the dal and boil for some time. Adjust salt and sugar as per your taste
